New Arrowmen - I'm ordeal, now what?

Congrats on making it through your Ordeal! Now that you’re a member of the Order of the Arrow (OA), there are a few paths forward: 1. Get Involved in Your Lodge Attend lodge and chapter meetings — they’re where you’ll meet other Arrowmen and find out about upcoming service projects, events, and fellowships. Participate in service projects for your council camps or community. OA is all about cheerful service. 2. Keep the Obligation in Mind The Ordeal isn’t an ending — it’s the start of your journey. The OA’s values of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service now guide your Scouting experience. Look for opportunities to lead and serve beyond your troop. 3. Go to OA Events Fall & Spring Fellowships are fun weekends with service, games, ceremonies, and training. You can also attend section conclaves and national OA events (like NOAC). 4. Work Toward Brotherhood Membership After at least 6 months of active membership, you can seal your ties to the OA by completing the Brotherhood ceremony. This involves reviewing the OA’s history, principles, and traditions — and shows a deeper commitment. 5. Explore Leadership Opportunities You can run for chapter or lodge officer positions. Or become part of a ceremonies team or drum/singing team.
